Did you know that adding a pool heater lengthens swim season by 75-90 percent? To make the most of your fiberglass swimming pool, we offer our Chicagoland customers three types of high-performing pool heaters:
● Natural gas – A gas line is run from your home’s meter to your pool equipment.
● Liquid propane – A gas line is run from a propane tank (either buried or not) to your pool equipment.
● Electric heat pump – Electricity is used to heat your pool. While this option lowers the cost of your utility bill, it is more expensive to install and less efficient. Additionally, it won’t work once temperatures dip below 55°F.
